Food Village

Come to the Food Village to tickle your taste buds with lip smacking Mo-Mos from Tawang, smoked fish and meat from the Siang and Subansiri, steamed rice from Lohit and many more appetizing dishes from other districts, and to wash down this delicious feast fit for gods, the nectar of Arunachal – the heavenly Apong. The cuisine will be straight from the traditional Arunachalee kitchen with crackling fires and spirit raising Apong. Do experience delicious delicacies from North to South of India.

Cultural Evenings

Snow lion dancers from the snow capped mountains of Tawang, Rosy cheeked dancers from Subansiri, fierce war dancers from Siang & Tirap will add colour to the festivities. Also enjoy performances of classic, folk, tribal dance forms of various States of India showing the panorama of cultural diversity of our country. The cultural troupes from the seven sisters will take us back to our roots. On 22 nd February, indulge yourself in Prashant Tamang – Live in concert, winner of Indian Idol.

Handloom & Craft Bazaar

Meet the world famous wood carvers from Tawang, Bomdila and Tirap. Witness deft fingers of artisans from Assam producing cane & bamboo products to beautify our homes. Purchase traditional furnishing straight from the looms of the Arunachal women in Exotic colours and patters at the Bazaar. Satisfy our longing for embellishment in Nagaland Handloom & Handicraft bazaar.

Flower show

525 varieties of orchids, out of total 1100 available in India are in Arunachal Pradesh. Appreciate some of these lovely orchids on display. Get to see an exposition of different varieties of flowers grown in the region, indigenous as well as exotics. Revive knowledge about herbal/medicinal plants with forest department.

Indigenous games demonstration

Witness demonstration of the traditional games like wrist gripping, bamboo skill, stick wresting, tukli, tug of war etc., slowly fading from the fields of Arunachal.
